The Ramones' debut was at the New York's Performance Studio in March of 1974. They were known for their ripped jeans, leather jackets and cartoonish personalities. Their cover of the Ronettes' "Baby I Love You" was their biggest hit and it reached to the Top 10 in the UK. In April of 2001 Joey Ramone died of lymphatic cancer. The Ramones were entered into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in early 2002.
