George Thorogood and the Destroyers recorded their first debut album in 1975 but it was not released until 1977. Apparently their sound was to "rocky" and they had no suitable photos for the cover? In 1980 they signed to EMI Records and had their first breakthrough album with "Bad to the Bone", the song also made an appearance in the horror film, "Christine". The Destroyers are famous also for their 50/50 tour where they toured 50 states in 50 days, doing a concert every day! Their most recent album is 1999's "Half a Boy Half a Man".
